
FANZINES! is a festival dedicated to fanzines and self-published books inOctober 2011, at the Marguerite Duras Public Library in Paris.
For this festival they are preparing an exhibition of Fanzines from around the world. The idea is that you sent one or more zines from your production, which will be exhibited in Paris from the 1st to the 22nd of October 2011. The Expo will be seen by a large audience – people coming to the Festival, as well as the regular users of the Public Library.
After the Expo is over, the Fanzine will be integrated into the special Fanzine Collection of the Public Library, so that interested readers may check it out anytime in the future!

Zinefest’s accompanying art show this year is called “Zine-Making in the Heartland” and it’s on display through the end of July at the Seward Cafe in Minneapolis. This show features the zine collection of Andy Sturdevant. Please reference the accompanying catalog which details the origin and impact of each book on display.
