Minneapolis is situated on the crossroads of I94 and I35W (the western split off from I35) in southeastern Minnesota. Stevens Square Center for the Arts is just south of downtown, a few blocks from I94. Get Directions

by air

Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) borders the Minneapolis on the South. The light rail will take you directly from there into central Minneapolis. You can either take the train to Franklin Avenue and transfer to the #2 or take the train downtown and catch the #11 on Nicollet Avenue. SSCA is one block north and four blocks west of the Franklin/Nicollet intersection. Plan your trip at metrotransit.org.

event venue

SSCA is on the corner of 3rd Avenue south and 19th Street, above the Third Avenue Market — a little corner store with a green awning, surrounded by apartment buildings. SSCA is on the second floor. There are stairs but no elevator. SSCA is not wheelchair accessible.

lodging

The Minneapolis International Hostel is just 5 blocks away from us at 24th Street and Stevens Avenue. If you want to spend more money, there are lots of hotels around that are easily found with a google search. If you can’t afford either option, you may be able to stay with someone.
